Fall Leaves in American Fork Canyon

We went for a little drive up American Fork Canyon today while listening to General Conference.

I guess some picnickers assume the servers will clean up their leftovers. However, I didn't see a tip on the table.

This is Timpanogos.

This is me.

And this is Chieko.

This is the 7.5-mile trail to the top of Timpanogos. We walked about 100 yards.

I think American Fork Canyon is possibly the prettiest canyon in Utah, at least for greenery in the summer and leaves in the fall.

The aspens are abundant.

This is also part of Timp.

A waterfall at Cascade Springs.

A wife at Cascade Springs.

The leaves on this rock may look staged, but the rock really wasn't accessible. I think this placement is natural.

Looking up from the bottom of the Springs trail.

Many of the oak brush leaves had started turning dull, but several brilliant red trees still line the road.

I thought this was an interesting mix of burned-out stumps and fall-red trees.
