RC Cars on the Salt Flats

What a nice day for running RC cars on the Salt Flats. Temperatures in the low 70s, and clear skies.

Michael, Nox and Annie getting cars ready to run.

Setting up cones to race through, although no one ever really raced.

Elliot and Jackson use the sitting-comfortably-in-a-camp-chair-while-driving-a-car method.

The spectator seats.

Tanner trying to control Wild Willy, which likes to do a lot of wheelies.

Wild Willy also likes to land upside down frequently.

I think Elliot has control here.

I was the chief mechanic and photographer, although Chieko also took this and some of the other pictures here.

Brothers Wells and Nox.

On the course.

Wells with the Hummer.

Annie driving the RC10, which is the fastest car. But it's also old (well, not as old as most of the others), and it is in need of several new parts.

I think the Hummer has just sideswiped the RC10.

Annie likes to test the shocks a lot.

The spectators and drivers.

I'm not sure who's behind the wheel, but I wouldn't want to be on the course with this person driving.
